Production Blog: The Struggle
Even though I have been bombarded with the last minute work teachers have given us students, I was able to do very few things to contribute to this project. Saying my time was limited would be an understatement. Nearly every hour after school was taken up with "optional" assignments or assignments that were extremely time consuming. Yay. Therefore, I had to look at my circumstances and suck it up. Sadly. Disregarding my sleep deprivation and desire for a break, I worked on the film. Only at the end of the night did I work on it, but I did contribute. I made it significant to sift my way through different editing apps while drifting off into slumber. At least I knew I was being slightly productive before going to sleep. Can you say dedication?
But I will say, it was indeed a process. Only half of my brain was processing the information that was being advertised about each app. Besides, I had to make sure none of them leave a watermark on my creation, so that was a struggle as well. I have also proceeded with filming minor scenes. Just the few that would take place in my home. Oh, and about that, I did not like any of my takes. It was either I looked so crazy that it looked like I was acting, or my directorial decisions were not pulling through. I had the hardest time executing the wide shots; or my close ups would be shaky. Anyway, I am desperately looking forward to this mild break I will have from most of my schoolwork. Let us hope I enjoy it and get my brain recharged.
