Planning for my Music Video

The song I chose is called Six Feet Apart by Alec Benjamin. Props I will be using are mainly jackets. In moments where you are in shock or in a time of despair, jackets are always used as something to trigger warmth and comfort within you. With the concept of this video, I felt jackets/hoodies were appropriate because we teens find it "trendy" to be in sweats and completely comfortable. Also, I use it as a silent sign of sadness. That maybe the characters in the video are in need of the comfort the hoodie grants.

The costumes used in this video are nothing but casual wear being the fact my video is revolved around the subjects being at home. The schedule is from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. I need pure daylight for my shots aside from the ones that are to be taken inside. Time after that would be used for other elements of the project like editing and different ideas that come up. I will be using my home as my setting. Mainly, it will be my bedroom, kitchen, and my street being used as a setting. Part of my backup plan would be to use my backyard. It has enough open space for the scene I am filming. It also has a beautiful background scenery of trees and sunset. As for my backup plan for scheduling, a Friday afternoon would be used if I find it difficult to film on a weekend day. If I am found uncertain of my availability on a weekend, I will film on a Monday afternoon.
